Homer, “The Death of Argos,” a selection from the Odyssey.
Billy Collins, “Books”
Edna St. Vincent-Millay, “Renascence”
Sylvia Plath, “Mushrooms”
Jacqueline Bardsley, “Oranges”
David Graham, “The Dogs in Dutch Paintings”
Robin Coste Lewis, “Navel”
Lawrence Ferlinghetti, “The Changing Light”
Rupi Kaur, “When My Mother Was Pregnant”
Anais Nin, “For Women Who Are Tied to the Moon”

In addition to hearing these wonderful poems, Pat Wright shared a selection of entries from her grandmother’s journals. They provided a fascinating and evocative glimpse into her grandmother’s life in Indiana in the 1930’s and 40’s.
