Our last 2021 meeting was our Annual Poetry night on Thursday, December, 9th. Four of us attended in-person at Betsy’s home in Berkeley. We enjoyed some light refreshments before setting up two laptops for the Zoom meeting. With two cameras working at once, we were able to ensure that each in-person attendee could see, and be seen by, the seven online attendees. This format seemed to work well, and it saved me the trouble of having to swivel a camera every time someone spoke.
The poems that were shared were:
Sylvia Plath, “The Moon and The Yew Tree” https://genius.com/Sylvia-plath-the-moon-and-the-yew-tree-annotated
Jane Owens, “Like an Enormous, Muffled Voice.”
